Current Situation?
Along with record levels of displacement, living conditions are poor for refugees in many host countries, and there are few legal routes to the West. Refugee resettlement, mostly to Western countries, has declined significantly of late, largely because of the US slashing its quotas.
We are a Subsidiary of Higgins Group of Attorney, a charity and a company limited by guarantee, established in 2020 by concerned group of elites and support from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. With the uptick in violence with Afghanistan and Myanmar. We realized that numbers of asylum seekers and refugees were either being “dispersed” or were settling themselves. These concerned local people saw the need for advice, advocacy and practical support for asylum seekers and refugees.
Supporting underprivileged children, mostly orphans and victims of abuse, that visit the day center. We provide food, education, and support. Giving every child the opportunity they deserve to have a brighter future. Teaching them to know their self-worth, capabilities, and resilience.
We responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster.
We try to organize national organisations, institutions, businesses and media outlets will join in, getting more people involved up and down the country, and putting pressure on Governments to up its game on climate change.
